Privacy policy

This policy explains what information More Good Hours ("we", "us") gets when you use moregoodhours.com, and what we do with it. The short version: we only get what you choose to send us, we use it to talk with you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

This site has no accounts or logins, and it doesn't set cookies of its own. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers.

We get personal information only when you send it to us:

  • The contact form and email. The form on our Contact page doesn't send anything through this site. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to team@moregoodhours.com, and nothing is sent until you press send there. We receive whatever that email contains, usually your name, email, business name, and note.
  • Booking a call. "Book a call" takes you to a Google Calendar booking page. When you book, Google shares the details you enter, such as your name, email, and chosen time, with us so we can hold the call.

Services from other companies

A few parts of the site come from other companies, which handle information under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Fonts. The site's fonts load from Google's servers, so your browser connects to Google, which can see your IP address and browser details.
  • Google Calendar. Our booking page is hosted by Google.
  • Substack. Our blog posts live on Substack. If you follow a link there or subscribe, Substack's policies apply.
  • Our web host. Like any website, the service that hosts this site may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to reply to you, schedule and hold calls, and, if we work together, to run your project. We don't sell your personal information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and booking details for as long as we need them to talk with you or work with you, and for our normal business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email team@moregoodhours.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and their teams. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
